HGE02 Pompeii. Herculaneum Gate East Side. Tomb of T. Terentius Felix Maior.

HGE02 Pompeii. May 2006. Tomb of Terentius Felix Maior.
According to Kockel, found in situ on the 15th September 1763, was a marble plaque with an inscription [CIL X 1019]. 
Now in Naples Archaeological Museum.  Inventory number 3879.

Fabia Probi f(ilia) Sabina uxor      [CIL X 1019].

According to Cooley this translates as:

To Titus Terentius Felix Maior, son of Titus, of the Menenian tribe, aedile. 
To him publicly, a place given and 2,000 sesterces. 
Fabia Sabina, daughter of Probus, his wife.

Also found was a cippus with the inscription T. MAIORI.

HGE02 Pompeii. According to Kockel, on the 15th September 1763, a marble plaque was found in situ with an inscription [CIL X 1019]. Now in Naples Archaeological Museum.  Inventory number 3879.
