IX.4 Pompeii. September 2004. Unnamed vicolo, looking east from Via Stabiana near IX.3.1.   On the north-west corner of the insula IX.3 (on the right), painted graffiti was found in September 1843:

Cn(aeum)  Helvium
Sabinum  aed(ilem)
vicini  fac[(iunt)      [CIL IV 852]

L(ucium)  C(eium)  S(ecundum)  II vir(um)    [CIL IV 853]

IX.4 Pompeii. September 2004. Unnamed vicolo, looking east from Via Stabiana near IX.3.1.

On the north-west corner of the insula IX.3 (on the right), painted graffiti were found in September 1843:

Cn(aeum)  Helvium

Sabinum  aed(ilem)

vicini  fac[(iunt)      [CIL IV 852]

According to Della Corte, another graffito with the name of Ubonius was found near to CIL IV 858 (see below).

It was found on the same wall but at the entrance of the vicolo, perhaps around the corner

In September 1843, graffiti was found painted on the pilaster on the left:
Cn(aeum)  Helvium  Sabin(um)
aed(ilem)  o(ro)  v(os)  f(aciatis)    CIL IV 857]

C(aium)  Calventium  Sittium
II vir(um)  i(ure)  d(icundo)  Uboni  vigula    [CIL IV 858]

Also found in September 1843, on the pilaster on the right, between IX.3.1 and IX.3.2 graffiti was found reading
M(arcum)  Holconium
Priscum  aedil(em)  o(ro)  v(os)  f(aciatis)    [CIL IV 860]
