IX.1.18 Pompeii. December 2005. Entrance on Via dell’Abbondanza.

According to Della Corte, graffiti found on the left of the entrance of IX.1.18, was

 

Polybium

II vir(um)  Lollia 

cum   suis   (rogat)      [CIL IV 1053]

 

Della Corte also said that although he could not know what was worked or sold here, he knew that Lollia Successa was the proprietor of the business.
