According to Fiorelli, in the north-west corner of the garden area, (on the right hand side of the photo) would have been a doorway.

This doorway lead to the kitchen with an oven above the hearth, and perhaps another small room, now fallen.

On the north the garden had a columned portico (stumps of columns just visible) that was entered from the atrium, on the left of the photo.
