According to Fiorelli, iIn the north-west corner of the garden area, (on the right hand side of the photo) would have been a doorway. This doorway lead to the kitchen with an oven above the hearth, and perhaps another small room, now fallen. See Pappalardo, U., 2001. La Descrizione di Pompei per Giuseppe Fiorelli (1875). According to Fiorelli, in the north-west corner of the garden area, (on the right hand side of the photo) would have been a doorway.

This doorway lead to the kitchen with an oven above the hearth, and perhaps another small room, now fallen.
