According to Jashemski, all of the rooms at the rear of this house were built out over the south wall of the city. At the rear on the street level, the large room w, and the triclinia on either side of it (rooms v and x) were completely open onto the portico that preceded the terrace.

According to Jashemski, the principal room had a door and two windows that opened onto a wide terrace at the rear on this lower level.
