![VII.4.2 Pompeii. December 2007. Boundary marker made of volcanic tufa between Temple of Fortuna Augusta and the Area Privata of M. Tullius, discovered 26th October 1823. The inscription read:
M(arci) Tulli M(arci) f(ilii)
area privata [CIL X 821]
This translates as - “Private land of Marcus Tullius, son of Marcus”.](7%2004%2002_files/image006.jpg)

The inscription read:
