According to
Jashemski, the peristyle garden had a wide portico on the north.
The portico was
supported by three columns and one engaged column, covered with rough plaster,
red at the bottom.
They were connected by
a low masonry wall with an entrance into the garden between the first and second
columns, from the east.
Numerous dolia and
large jars were found embedded in the soil in the north-east corner of the
garden.
