A low wall separated the garden from the portico. There is an arched niche Lararium on the east wall. See Jashemski, W. F., 1993. The Gardens of Pompeii, Volume II: Appendices. New York: Caratzas. (p.52) Neither the one column on the portico nor the low wall appear to be there anymore.
